Hello, I’m Troy Mason. I’m a hiker and climber who fell in love with photographing the Pacific Northwest. My focus is black and white fine art photography, capturing the raw beauty of mountains, forests, and coastlines. Each image reflects the quiet moments and rugged places that have inspired me, and I hope they bring a sense of that same wonder into your home.

Photography has been part of my life since I was young, but the Pacific Northwest is what gave it real meaning. I spend much of my time hiking trails, climbing peaks, and exploring the rugged coastlines of Washington and Oregon. Out there, I am not just looking at scenery, I am feeling the weight of clouds rolling over ridges, hearing the stillness settle in forests, and watching rivers cut their way through stone. These are the moments I try to capture.
I work almost entirely in black and white. Stripping away color lets me focus on the texture, form, and emotion of a place. A long exposure can turn rushing water into a soft veil, or reveal subtle tones in mountain shadows. For me, it is about creating images that feel timeless, as if they could have been made yesterday or a hundred years ago.
My galleries include landscapes from Mount Rainier, the Cascade Range, and the Puget Sound region, along with seascapes and cityscapes that highlight the quieter side of life here in the Northwest. Each photograph is carefully crafted into a fine art print that is available as canvas prints, metal prints, acrylic, or framed wall art. These pieces are designed to be more than decoration, they are statement pieces that bring the grandeur of nature into your home or office.
Through these images, I hope you find the same sense of wonder and connection that keeps me returning to these wild places again and again.
